Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and drugs. ECT is causing momentary seizures through electrical stimulation. Last resort. MAOIs, SSRIs and Tricyclic antidepressants Psychotherapy is done to protect against relapse, rTMS reduce manic symptoms, such as lithium.
