Episodic disorder. Chance of relapse increase after every episode
Extreme sadness and inability to experience pleasure

PDD (Dysthemia)
A
Chronically depressed more than half of the time for at least 2 years.

Epidemiology
A
Prevalance varies across cultures (16% lifetime US). Women are twice as likely. Especially prevalant in adolescence. Seasonal affective disorder is subtype caused by change in season.

A
Retardation; Thought and movements slow
Agitation; pacing, fidgeting and wring hands
