Q

Why is there variation in the offspring of sexual reproduction?

A

The offspring inherits features from both parents as it’s received a mixture of chromosomes. The mixture of genetic information produces variation

Q

How does asexual reproduction happen?

A

It happens by mitosis, an ordinary cell makes a new cell by dividing in two. The new cell is called a clone and has exactly the same genetic information as the parent cell
