Q

Lig.patellae

A

Continuation of tendon from m.quadriceps femoris. The patella is a sesamoid bone in the tendon, before the ligament inserts on tub.tibiae

Q

Lig.collaterale laterale

A

From laterale epicondyle of femur to caput fibulare and a lesser part to the lateral condyle of tibia. Underneath there is the tendon om m.popliteus.

I: Patella, by means of patellar lig. on tub.tibiae
A: Strongest extensor of stifle, m.rectus femoris also flex hip
