M.biceps femoris
O: pars cranials: sacrotuberous ligament, pars caudalis: tub. ischiadicum
I: By means of fascia lata and crural fascia to the patella, lig.patellae and tub.tibiae and tibial crest, tuber calcanei by accesory tendon
A: Extend hip and hock. It´s cran. part extends and the caud. part flexes the stifle.
M.abductor cruris caudalis
O: Dist. part of the sacrotuberous lig.
I: Dissapears in crural fascia on lat. side.
A: Abduct the hindlimb, flex stifle
M.semimembronusus
O: Vent. aspect to the tub.ishiadica
I: Cran. belly dist. on labium med. and condylus med. of femur, cau. muscle belly on condylus med. of tibia
A: To ext. the hip, flex stifle joint
M.semitendinosus
O: Tub.ischiadicum
I: On tibial crest (med.) and tub.calcanei by means of the crural fascia/tendo common calcanei
A: Ext. hip, flex stifle and ext. the hock

M.biceps femoris M.abductor cruris caudalis M.semitendinosus M.semimembronus All of them o. from pelvis/sacrotuberous lig., and i. on femur/tibia. All except abductor extends the hip, with something else as action.
