Nominal scale
used for labelling variables, mutually exclusive, no numerical significance
Ordinal scale
place importance on the order of the values
Interval scale
numeric scale where the order is known
Ratio scales
tells the order, exact value between units and have an absolute 0

Interviews, surveys, observation, standardized test

automatic systems that a person uses to interpret information and react

Lights, noise, spatial issues, air quality
