What is the first thing that a clinician see’s when they look over a report?
The sequencing results. Which includes DNA and RNA detection.
What are the Genomic variants included on the report:
Somatic: potentially actionable
Somatic: biologically relevant
Germline: pathogenic/likely pathogenic
Somatic: pertinent negative
What immunotherapy markers are included on the report?
- TMB
- MSI status
Are therapy indications and clinical trials reported on the report as well?
Yes
FDA- Approved therapies on the report include:
- current diagnosis
- other indications
What would be an example of a secondary report ?
IHC results: MMR, this would indicate presence of absence of the four mismatch repair proteins.
What would indicate an “abnormal” result on this?
1 or more of the 4 proteins has abnormal or missing expression.
What’s an example of another secondary report?
IHC results: PD-L1, this indicates PD-L1 expression as well as the cutoff levels for tumor types for FDA-approved diagnostic interpretation.
