Lots of money was spent on the war but the true count was that this money could not be spent on solving problems in the USA and improving the lives of Poor Black Americans

It also led to Americans being less trusting of both the goverment and each other

Many were treated poorly due to the loss of the war and accused for killing innocent people especially the ones who came back when opposition to the war was the highest

The USA’s image had been damaged as it had entered the war to keep South Vietnam free from communism but by 1975 it was all communist
