Expanding Trade-New world opened up new opportunities for trade and lots of money to be made especially as conflicts had hit the traditional wool and cloth industry hard

The colonists left too late to reach Virginia in time to plant crops meaning they had to rely on the natives
The natives were welcoming at first however got fed up of always being asked for food.
The tiger which carried most of their food got damaged and alot of the food was inedible.
