1.Adoration: praising God.
2. Thanksgiving: thanking God.

Why do Christians pray?
A
- Adoration can put things into perspective, by focusing on God they can see the reality of life.
- Thanksgiving helps people not to take things for granted.
- Confession can stop a person from bottling feelings of guilt and helps them come to terms with it.
- Supplication can inspire them to do something practical.
- Mediative prayers can bring inner peace.
