Why was the Soviet Impact on the P.G limited?
A
Because they were worried about the tsarist forces and the Petrograd Soviet consisted of Mensheviks and marxists that believed that a bourgeois government had to exist before a revolution. They also didn’t want to be blamed for the problems in Russia if things gone wrong.

What did the Petrograd Soviet do?
A
The petrograd soviet influenced government policies and made sure that they benefitted the ordinary people and soldiers. Many principles set on 3rd of March were demands from Soviets, such as the release of political prisoners.
