  1. Esa calle está menos lejos que la otra.
  2. Esa calle está más cerca que la otra.
A

Both mean the same thing ie “That street is closer than the other.” But, in 1. “menos … que” is qualifying an adverb THEREFORE use the opposite adverb ie lejos rather and cerca. It’s literal meaning is “less far than”.
