What does a direct object pronoun do? (2 things)
It appears in a sentence with a verb to
- complement, and
- restrain
its meaning.
What type of sentences can it only appear?
in transitive sentence with a transitive verb

where is the direct object placed?
- AFTER the transitive verb, or
2. before or after the transitive verb when it switches to its pronoun form
what is Semantic Use 1 of the direct object?
Its main use is to describe an object which the main action is focused on.
Enviamos la carta el viernes pasado.
Semantic Use 1, “We sent the letter last Friday”.

In some cases, the object is produced by the action of the verb.

What is Way 1 to identify the direct object?
Substitute the direct object for its pronoun form. This phenomenon is called “pronominalización”
