Teeth in the arches that don’t fit together correctly

a dentist that straightens and corrects the alignment of the teeth

a dentist that specializes in children’s teeth
Periodontist
a dentist that specializes in treating the gingiva and other supporting tissues
Prosthodontist
a dentist that specializes in replacing missing parts of the mouth
Oral Pathologist
a specialized field that studies disease by use of tissue samples

A dentist that surgically corrects malformations of the head and mouth. Including extractions.

A dentist that specializes in teaching dental health
Pellicle
A thin film or coating of salivary material deposited on a tooth surfaces
Occlusion
The relationship between the maxillary and mandibular teeth when the upper and lower jaws are in a fully closed position
Retromolar Area
The portion of the mandible directly posterior to the last molar on each side.
