Patients with periodontal disease may have any or all of the following signs and symptoms
Red, Swollen, or tender gingiva Loose or separating teeth -Pain or pressure when chewing -Pus around the teeth or gingiva -Bleeding gingiva while brushing or flossing
The structure of the periodontium include
Alveolar bone

- Periodontal ligaments
- The gingiva is also a structure of the periodtium.
