A

What is de Quervain’s stenosing tenovaginitis?

A

Inflammation of extensor pollicis brevis and abductor pollicis longus, resulting in pain at the outside of the wrist. Also known as “texting thumb” etc. Radial aspect of the wrist is swollen, tender, hot and red, and a positive Finklestein’s test is observed.
