Teacher's Notes 5th Lesson Flashcards
what is haptoblobin
it is a plasma protein that get attached with the free hemoglobin in the blood
why the haptoglobin do attach with the Hp
because it works as presenting cell to the macrophages to eat the Hp
what happens to the count of the haptoglobin in the hemolytic anemia
it is decreased because it is cosumed by the high of RBCs catalyse
what we could see in the urine if the kindey is damaged
we will see proteins
why we break down proteins in the inflammations
i well first we need the amino acids to produce antibodies and if there was a tissue damage we will need the amino acids to repair the damage
what is the extreme muscles protein degenration called
cachexia
why we it is possible to see a high levels of cytokines which is a sign of infection but at the same the WBCs count is low
because the high levels of the cytokines will gives a negative FB and decrease the WBCs count to prevent to over reaction of the immune system
