Nagi's 1st Lecture BLOOD Flashcards
How many grams are the plasma proteins in the plasma
7 grams
How much is thr crystalloids in the plasma
0.9%
That is way if we wanted to make a محلول ملحي we add to each 1L of water 9 grams NACL
What is the most important function of the albumin
The colloidal osmotic pressure
Where are the site of formation of the plasma proteins
Liver for all and addition the gamma globulins are formed in the plasma cells of the epithelial layer of the vessels
What is the optimum number of the albumin/globulin ratio
1.2-1.6
What happens to the A/G in the kidney diseases
Only the disease that have proteinuria we lose both of them but albumin more because it has lower molecular weight so the ration decrease
What happens to the A/G ratio in the liver diseasees
It decreases because we no longer producing albumin and globulin in the liver but the gamma globulin has a second site which works more to fill the gap and we end in more globulin
What happens to the A/G ratio in infections
Decrease due to increasing of the globulin as an antibodies
