1
Q

Q

How do synapses work?

A

The nerve signal is transferred (from the neurone) by chemicals which diffuse across the gap (between neurones)
These chemicals then set off a new electrical signal in the next neurone.

Q

What is a example of a reflex using light and an eye?

A

If someone shines a bright light in you eyes, your pupils automatically get smaller so that less light gets into the eye - this stops it getting damaged.
