A

Blood/mucous stool
Vomiting ad diarrhoea
Lethargy
Abdominal mass (unlikely)

Investigations for intussusception?

A

IMAGING= US, X-ray/CT

-Air or barium enema (GOLD STANDARD) may also fix it

Management of intussusception?

A

Barium enema fixes 90% of cases

-If that doesn’t work surgical release, 1st= Manual reduction, 2nd= segmental bowel resection
