وَالْمُرْسَلَاتِ

far and wide; spread; scattered
فَالْفَارِقَاتِ
and/thus those who seperate
فَرْقًا
a criterion
فَالْمُلْقِيَاتِ
and/thus those who bring down
ذِكْرًا
a reminder
عُذْرًا
a justification; an excuse
أَوْ
or
نُذْرًا
a warning
إِنَّمَا
indeed, what; only
تُوعَدُونَ
you[plural] are promised
لَوَاقِعٌ
will surely occur
فَإِذَا
so when
النُّجُومُ
the stars
طُمِسَتْ
are obliterated
وَإِذَا
and when
السَّمَاءُ
the sky; the heaven
فُرِجَتْ
is cleft asunder
الْجِبَالُ
the mountains
نُسِفَتْ
is/are blown away
الرُّسُلُ
the messengers
أُقِّتَتْ
is/are gathered to appointed time
لِأَيِّ
for what
يَوْمٍ
day
أُجِّلَتْ
is/are postponed
لِيَوْمِ
for (the) day
الْفَصْلِ
the judgement; the Decision
وَمَا
and what; and not
أَدْرَاكَ
will make you know
مَا
what
يَوْمُ
day
وَيْلٌ
woe; despair is upon…
يَوْمَئِذٍ
that day
لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
to the deniers
أَلَمْ
did not
نُهْلِكِ
we destroy
الْأَوَّلِينَ
the former (people); the early (people)
ثُمَّ
then
نُتْبِعُهُمُ
we follow them up
الْآخِرِينَ
the later ones (people);
كَذَٰلِكَ
thus; so that…
نَفْعَلُ
we deal
بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ
with the criminals
نَخْلُقْكُمْ
we create you
مِنْ
from
مَاءٍ
water
مَهِينٍ
despicable
فَجَعَلْنَاهُ
then we placed it; then we made it
فِي
in
قَرَارٍ
an abode
مَكِينٍ
safe
إِلَىٰ
for; to
قَدَرٍ
a period
مَعْلُومٍ
(a thing) known
فَقَدَرْنَا
so we measured
فَنِعْمَ
and best
الْقَادِرُونَ
those capable
نَجْعَلِ
we make; we made
الْأَرْضَ
the earth
كِفَاتًا
a receptacle
أَحْيَاءً
alive; living
وَأَمْوَاتًا
and (the) dead
وَجَعَلْنَا
and we made
فِيهَا
in it[feminine]
رَوَاسِيَ
firmly set mountains
شَامِخَاتٍ
lofty
وَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمْ
and we gave you to drink
فُرَاتًا
sweet
انْطَلِقُوا
proceed you[plural]
كُنْتُمْ
you used to
بِهِ
in it
تُكَذِّبُونَ
you[plural] deny
ظِلٍّ
a shadow
ذِي
possessor
ثَلَاثِ
three
شُعَبٍ
columns
لَا
not; no
ظَلِيلٍ
cool shade
وَلَا
and not
يُغْنِي
availing; avails
اللَّهَبِ
the flame
إِنَّهَا
indded, it[feminine]
تَرْمِي
throws up
بِشَرَرٍ
sparks
كَالْقَصْرِ
as the fortress; as the castle
كَأَنَّهُ
like it was; as if it was
جِمَالَتٌ
camels
صُفْرٌ
yellow
هَٰذَا
this
يَوْمُ
day
يَنْطِقُونَ
they will speak
يُؤْذَنُ
will it be permitted
لَهُمْ
for them
فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ
thus they make excuses
جَمَعْنَاكُمْ
we have gathered you[plural]
وَالْأَوَّلِينَ
and the former (people)
فَإِنْ
so, if
كَانَ
is; is ever-so
لَكُمْ
for you[plural]; to you[plural]
كَيْدٌ
a plan
فَكِيدُونِ
then plan against me
إِنَّ
indeed
الْمُتَّقِينَ
the righteous
ظِلَالٍ
shades
وَعُيُونٍ
and springs
وَفَوَاكِهَ
and fruits
مِمَّا
from what
يَشْتَهُونَ
they desire
كُلُوا
eat you[plural]
وَاشْرَبُوا
drink you[plural]
هَنِيئًا
satisfaction
بِمَا
for what
تَعْمَلُونَ
you do [plural]
كَذَٰلِكَ
thus
نَجْزِي
we reward
الْمُحْسِنِينَ
the good-doers
وَتَمَتَّعُوا
and you[plural] enjoy
قَلِيلًا
a little
إِنَّكُمْ
indeed, you
مُجْرِمُونَ
criminals
قِيلَ
it is said
ارْكَعُوا
bow you[plural]
يَرْكَعُونَ
they bow
فَبِأَيِّ
then in what
حَدِيثٍ
statement
بَعْدَهُ
after it
يُؤْمِنُونَ
they believe
