الْأَشْقَى

the wretched one

يَصْلَى

will burn

النَّارَ

the fire

الْكُبْرَىٰ

A

the great [feminine]

ثُمَّ

A

then

لَا

A

not

Q

يَمُوتُ

A

he dies

Q

فِيهَا

A

therein; in it[feminine]

Q

وَلَا

A

and not

Q

يَحْيَىٰ

A

he lives

Q

قَدْ

A

certainly

Q

أَفْلَحَ

A

has succeeded

Q

تَزَكَّىٰ

A

purifies

Q

وَذَكَرَ

A

and remembers

Q

رَبِّهِ

A

his Lord

Q

فَصَلَّىٰ

A

then prays; and prays

بَلْ

A

rather; nay!

Q

تُؤْثِرُونَ

A

you[plural] prefer

Q

الْحَيَاةَ

A

the life

Q

الدُّنْيَا

A

the world

Q

وَالْآخِرَةُ

A

and the hereafter

خَيْرٌ

better

Q

وَأَبْقَىٰ

and everlasting; most lasting

إِنَّ
