Diagnosis

- Slowed gastric emptying
- Caused by damage to vagus nerver
- Symptoms- N/V a feeling of fullness after eating small amount
- Effect- Food absorption - glucose intering the blood difficulty controlling glucose
- Drug effects
- Amylin/incretin mimetics- gastric empty- hypoglycemia
- Diagnosis- Uper gastro endoscopy, barium breakfast meal, gastric emptying scintigraphy
