Berlin Olympics (1936)
The Nazi regime used the Berlin Olympics for propaganda, aiming to show Aryan superiority. However, Jesse Owens, an African-American sprinter, won 4 gold medals, directly challenging Hitler’s ideology.

Mexico City Olympics, Tommie Smith and John Carlos raised black-gloved fists on the medal podium during the U.S. national anthem to protest racial injustice and show solidarity with the Civil Rights Movement.

Munich Massacre (1972)
