Get water supply first unless officer makes judgement call that immediate intervention with tank water has high likelyhood of success (second engine gets water if 1st doesnt)

What is the primary responsibility of first arriving suppression unit in offensive strategy?

Answer 2

Initiate aggressive interior attack in a calculated manner. Use offensive exterior when fire is readily shown from the outside.

Question 3

Basement Fires?

Answer 3

Direct stream through a window or opening closest to the fire. Will greatly benefit the conditions. Follow up with interior attack.

Question 4

Minimum Hose line selection for fire?

Answer 4

1 3/4” with 150 GPM at minimum. Back up line should be the same or larger.
