The portion of medical history addressing family, Mental status, occupational and recreational aspect of the patient personal life that have the potential to be clinically significant.

- Patient’s personal characteristics
(name, sex, age ,education, Address, marital status, interests, emotionality, adaptability, coping capability etc…) - Patient’s family background:
Type of family: nuclear (elementary), joint (extended) or 3 generation. Living conditions, leisure time, Family relationships - Occupational environment:
occupation, position, salary shifts, overworked, working conditions? - Patients social environment:
availability of social support inside and outside the family, ecological problems (noise, atmospheric pollution, public transport), patient attitude to health services and vice versa - Health services and the patient:
character of contact (regular or sporadic), any hospitalisations, Health treatment, patient attitudes in health services - Socio-medical conclusions:
patient risk factors and needs
