Adaptation
Your bodys response to training and how it changes to cope with the activity
What is anaerobic
Anaerobic is working at a high level without oxygen
What is aerobic
Aerobic is working at a morderate level with oxygen
Effects of musculo sleletal system
Increased stregnth in ligaments and tendons.
Increased bone density
Muscular hypotrophy-growth and increase of muscle cells
Effects on the cardio-respiratory
Decreased resting heart rate.
Faster recovery rate
Increasing resting stroke volume
Maximum cardicac output.
Alveoli
Tiny sacs within our lungs that allow oxygen and carbon dioxide to move between the lungs and bloodstream
Diaphragm
The primary muscle used in the process of inspiration pr inhalation
Cardiac output
The amount of blood ejected from your heart in one minute (CO)=(RSV) X (RHR)
Resting stroke volume
The amount of blood pumped per beat
Recovery rate
The speed at which your heart returns to RHR after your exersize
