1. Hand hygiene! Use gloves!
2. Use kidney bowl for gathering things.
3. Place the slide on tissue paper and label it with the patient’s details.
4. Place one drop of oil in the centre of the slide.
5. Place one drop of oil on the kiwi fruit.
6. Scrape the surface repeatedly away from yourself. Do not cut the patient!
7. Transfer the material to the slide by tapping the scalpel blade in the oil drop. As an alternative
   you can scrape the blade gently against the edge of the slide.
8. Place the coverslip over the sample area.
