A tight Infraglenoid ligament
What nerve innervates the rotator cuff mms?
suprascapular, c-5 &c-6 except for teres minor (axillary nerve c-5 & c-6
Lats length test?
pt supine flexing shoulder
Length test for pecs clavicular portion?
pt supine shoulders abducted to 90dg
Length test for pecs sternal portion?
pt supine, arms in “Y” position thumbs point toward eachother. Arms should rest on the table for normal length.
Triceps length test?
Elbow and shoulder in full flexion.
MMT for Utraps?
pt sitting shrugs, you put full weight against it.
Inte/xt rotation?
pt prone, arm off side of table.
Mid traps mmt?
pt prone, arms at 90dg, Lift elbow to ceiling. Resist from opposite side at axial border of scapula.
Lower traps mmt?
pt prone, arms “Y” position c thumbs “up”. Apply pressure down and away at the lateral border.
Serratus anteior mmt?(2)
2 tests
- longsitting, shoulder flexed to 90dg, if scap winds=automatic score of 4.
- Supine shoulder flexed to 90dg. pt makes a fist and does pushup plus motion. Therapist applys pressure down toward the shoulder jt, stabaliz the elbow.
Painful arctest?
pt stands in fundamental pos. and moves shoulders through sctaption. If painful betweem 60 & 120dg, test +
