correlational studies
refers to a type of research design that examines the relationship between two or more variables.
questionnaire?
A questionnaire: refers is a research tool used to collect data from participants through a series of written questions.
STRENGTHS AND LIM FOR CORRELATIONAL STUDIES
STRENGTH: Correlational studies are useful for identifying potential relationships between variables.
LIMITATION: They do not establish cause and effect.
CASE STUDIES?
Case studies: in-depth investigation of a particular person, small group, activity and behavior or event that contains a real hypothetical situation.
STRENGTHS AND LIM FOR CASE STUDIES:
STRENGTH: in-depth analysis, good data for hypothesis or future researchers
LIMITATION: cannot test a cause-and-effect relationship, no single person experiment and small sample size.
LIM AND STRENGTHS FOR BETWEEN?
lim: often needs a larger sample group
strength: quicker as dif people are used in experimental and control groups
LIM AND STRENGTHS FOR WITHIN?
STRENGTH: Tends to require a relatively smaller number of participants when compared with other designs because the same participants are in all conditions.
lim: Higher rate of participant withdrawl
