QUALITATIVE DATA
Information which are formed in words, meanings, pictures and descriptions
QUANTITATIVE DATA
Information expressed numerically
PRIMARY DATA
Information collected directly of source by researcher for there own specific data
SECONDARY DATA
Information not collected directly by researcher but before by some one else.
SUBJECTIVE DATA
Information that is based on personal opinion, interpretation, point of view judgement.
OBJECTIVE DATA
Information that is observable or measurable and free from researcher bias.
EXTERNAL VALIDITY
Results from a study due to a variable being tested.
INTERNAL VALIDITY
refers to results obtained from a study can be generalised to the population which the sample is drawn to.
SITUATIONAL VARIABLE
an aspect of the environment that may affect the participants behavior. e.g. temperature or lighting.
PARTICIPANT VARIABLE
an individuals differences that could impact the result of a study.
