A registrant must resolve the issue through consultation with institutional review, boards, animal care, and use committees per consolation, or consolation, with other appropriate resources
What must registrant make clear if they offer professional services as an inducement to obtain research participants?
They must be clear to the participants the nature of the professional services offered, including any risks associated with and limitations to such services
What does the code state in terms of unacceptable inducements, in regard to research?
A registrant must not offer, excessive or inappropriate financial or other inducements to obtain research participants, particularly if such inducements maybe expected to coerce participation
What to must a registration do as part of the process of development and implementation of research projects?
Must consult with expertise concerning any special population that is under investigation, or that is likely to be affected by the research
In regards to institutions, what two things must registrant do before conducting research?
1) provide accurate information about the research protocol and a research proposal to the host institution, or organization
2) obtain appropriate approval from the host institution or organization
Registrants must provide prompt opportunity for a research participants to obtain information about the nature, results and conclusions of the research, however, scientific or humane values, justified, delaying, or withholding the information then what must a registrant do?
A registrant must take measures to reduce the risk of harm to the research participants
What does the code state in terms of appropriate interference in regard to research?
And conducting research a registrant must only interfere with the research participants from which status has collected in a manner that is warranted by inappropriate research design and consistent with the registration rule as a scientific investigator
What must a registrant do if they discover significant errors in their published research data?
A registrant must take steps, correct such errors in a correction, retraction,erratum, or by other appropriate publication means
Under what conditions may a registrant only use procedures, subjecting animals to pain, stress, or privation?
Only when in an alternative procedure is unavailable, and the goal is justified by its perspective, scientific, educational, or applied value
