A telescope that gathers information in the form of radio waves.

A tool used to aid navigation, sailors to used this.

An event in which the moon completely blocks the sun
Stonehednge
An ancient stone circle, found in England, created to understand the cycle of the sun and the seasons. Some stones point to where the sunrises and sets on the longest day of the year. (Fall & Spring Equinox)
Fall & Spring Equinox
The time of the year when day and night are of equal length. 12 hours of daylight in 12 hours of night.
Astrolabe
A star map drawn on a metal plate with movable parts that allow the viewer to measure the angle between the horizon and a star or a planet

To gather light to magnifiy faraway objects in the sky.
