The electrical system and The plumbing system work together in a house. The electrical system heats water and the plumbing system brings it to the shower so you can take a hot shower.
Explain how a GPS (global positioning system) helps people know where they are
The GPS uses the signals from satellites to figure out an exact location
Explain the need for systems in order for technology to work in the home.
The Electrical system in the home brings the power from solar panels outside into your home so you can use technology inside your home.

Renewable sources people have used to generate power for centuries are WIND and WATER
How are cars a helpful and a harmful example of technology?
Cars are helpful by taking us place to place faster. It is harmful by polluting the air.

The invention of the ARCHES created Aqueducts that brought water into the Roman cities.
SOLAR PANELS concentrate the Sun’s rays. This energy changed to electricity

We have to try and make generators that pollute the air LESS

Science helps people understand how the world works and technology helps apply the understanding to solve problems and improve lives.
Give 2 examples of ways technology can be helpful and harmful.
Technology can be helpful because it can make our life easier. It can be harmful by polluting our air and water.
Compare the good and bad points of windmills and watermills.
The GOOD point of windmills and watermills is that they are both renewable resources and they don’t pollute the air or water.
The BAD point is that watermills can only work along a river and they are not enough power for all needs.
What are some ways you use a computer every day, even if you don’t use a desktop computer?
I use computers for playing games, home schooling, and learning.
