What is Salinity?
The measure of how salty water is
What is an aquifer?
 The layer of rock and soil that hold the ground water
What is a water table?
The top level of groundwater in an aquifer
What is a reservoir?
The reservoir is an artificial lake that forms behind a dam.
What is evaporation?
It is changing of liquid water to water vapor
What is transpiration?
Changing of moisture from plants to water vapor.
What is condensation?
Changing of water vapor into liquid water droplets forming in to clouds.
What is participation?
Water that is falling from clouds as rain, snow, sleet, or hail
What is a runoff?
Water moving down hill
What is sublimation?
Changing of ice directly into water vapor without melting first
What is deposition?
Changing of water vapor directly into ice (frost)
