- dyspnoea
- orthopneoa
- pink, frothy sputum
- pale, sweaty, distressed
- raised JVP
- inspiratory crackles
- wheeze = cardiac asthma
- triple/gallop rhythm

A
- cardiomegaly
- bat wings - fluffy bilateral shadowing with peripheral sparing
- kerley b lines
- pleural effusions

- O2 15l/min non-rebreathe

- salbutamol nebuliser 5mg

Main treatment (4)
A
- furosemide
40-80mg IV slowly
- GTN spray
- 2 sprays - CPAP
- Glyceryl trinate 50mg 0.9% sodium chloride IV at 2ml/hr titrating up to 20ml/hr
- maintains BP
