• Mayday transmission for Collapse Imminent
• Mayday transmission for Collapse Occurred
• Urgent transmission for “Interior attack discontinued/Exterior attack instituted”
• Urgent transmission for “Loss of water endangering members”
• Anytime the IC determines a roll call is necessary

Roll Call Procedures

Answer 2

• Member conducting the emergency roll call is known as the Roll Call Officer (RCO)
• Engines, Squads, and Haz-Mat Tech Engines answer the roll call according to their engine position assignments
• Ladders and Rescue companies answer the roll call according to their engine position assignments
• Haz-Mat 1 will answer according to their assignments (e.g. Entry 1 and 2…)
• The RCO must have an updated list of all companies on the scene
• An updated printout can be accessed from any apparatus MDT
