• A Second Alarm is warranted for any visible fire or smoke emanating through the exterior skin of the building, or when a serious fire has been verified
• NOTE: When a 2nd Alarm is transmitted prior to the transmission of a 10-76, the IC will receive the balance of the 10-76 assignment in addition to the 2nd Alarm assignment

• 1st & 2nd arriving Engine companies stretch and operate the first line
• 3rd & 4th arriving Engine companies stretch and operate the second line
• The second line backs up the first line, on the FIRE FLOOR. The second line does NOT go to the floor above.
