Q
Reproductive System
A
Males produce sperm and females produce ovaries and nourish a developing embryo

Q
Process of fertilization
A
Fertilization is the process of the sperm (haploid, N) joining an egg (haploid,N) . This will create a zygote (diploid, 2N). The zygote will start dividing to create more cells and move down the fallopian tube. The outer protective layer of the zygote will disappear and the inner portion will remain called a blastocyst. The blastocyst will attach to the wall of the uterus in a process called implantation.
