System that fights off infection through the production of cells that inactive foreign substances of cells

A
They track down harmful pathogens that have managed to break through he bodies non-specific defense

What is non-specific defense?
A
They guard against infection by keeping most things out of the body

What are vaccines?
A
A weakened form of the virus or pathogen that causes your immune system to create millions of antibodies. Creates an active immunity (immunity that lasts a long time)

What are antibiotics?
A
Medicines that kill bacteria without harming body cells. Creates a passive immunity ( immunity that last a short time)
