  • For runways where AD 2 has annotated “Reduced Take-off Minima Available”, take-off may be executed with a 0ft cloud base and 800m vis provided that:
    • Runway has centreline markings or lights
    • Nose wheel steering is serviceable
    • Departure Alternate is nominated
    • Minimum 13 runway lights are visable
    • PIC can confirm min vis
    • Operavtive Auto-Fx

  • Ops to NOT below 800m Vis
    • Runway has centre-line markings or lights
    • Nose wheel steering is serviceable
    • Departure alternate is required
    • Minimum 13 runway lights visable (60m Between each light)
    • The PIC can confirm the min vis is present
    • Auto-fx operative
  • Ops Below 800m, the following additional requirements must be met:
    • Serviceable secondary power supply and Auto switch over for runway lighting
    • The PIC can confirm the Min vis has been met
      • 400m - 7 lights
      • 350m - 6 lights
      • Or RVR from ATIS or Tower
    • PIC and FO had training on reduced vis Take-offs to 350m and in previous 13 months carried out reduced vis Take-offs in the SIM
    • Left Seat (PIC) must be Pilot flying
    • 20kt Max crosswind
