Pathway- radial nerve
-Continuation of c5+T1 and the posterior cord
-through the spinal groove of the humerus + under the fibrous arch of triceps coursing posterolaterally down the arm
-in then winds around the arcade of frohse + then comes back posteriorly to travel down the post lat forearm to the thumb + index finger
What muscles innervated by the radial nerve
-triceps
-extensor carpi radialis longus
-extensor pollicis brevis
-anconeus
-extensor digitorum
-abductor pollicis longus
-brachioradialis
-extensor carpi radialis brevis
-extensor carpi ulnaris
-extensor pollicis longus
-extensor indicis
Wrist drop
Wrist hangs in flexion as wrist flexors are unopposed due to flaccid wrist extensors
