Hedonic wellbeing is subjective wellbeing that reflects a person’s indiv. evaluation of their quality of life or HAPPINESS

It has 3 components:

  1. Life satisfaction
  2. Presence of a positive mood
  3. Absence of a negative mood

What is the definition of Eudaimonic wellbeing?

A

Eudaimonic wellbeing is considered psychological wellbeing that relates to someone’s sense of purpose. Eudaimonic wellbeing is living well by flourishing and fulfilling human potential (self-realization)

Components include:

Experiences of fulfillment, strengths, life purposefulness and personal development, rather than just simply happiness
