Prochlorperazine is an antiemetic and antipsychotic drug that acts on several central neurotransmitter systems.

Indicators of Prochlorperazine?
A
- Treatment or prophylaxis of nausea/vomiting in: motion sickness, penetrating eye injury and aeromedical evacuation
- Vertigo or nausea or vomiting associated with migraine, labyrinthitis or Meniere’s syndrome
- Know allergy or contraindication to Metoclopramide administration

- Hypersensitivity
- Circulatory collapse
- CNS depression
- Children <2 years

- Hypotension
- Epilepsy
- Patient on anti-depressants or affected by alcohol.
