Kidneys
Right kidney is a little lower down than the left kidney because of the liver on the right side of the body.
Kidneys not very well protected; which is why they are prone to injury during sports
Quadratus lumborum
helps to laterally flex/twist the vertebral column
Illiacus
Flexes thigh and stabilizes hip joing
Psoas Major
Flexes hip and vertebral column
Subcostal Nerve
T12; pierces transversus ab muscle and supplies ab wall sensation and motor activity
Iliohypogastric Nerve
L1; supplies sensation and motor activity to skin of area
Ilioinguinal Nerve
L1; funs on top of iliac crest and goes into inguinal ring: provides sensory and motor sensation for the pubic area
Femoral Nerve
Motor function to the quad
Obturator Nerve
Supplies motor and sensory to abductors of thigh
Genitofemoral Nerve
Branches into femoral branch and genital branch.
Genital branch goes through inguinal ring and plays a part in cremaster reflex (in males)
