What is plyometric training?
A
Involves explosive and bouncing moments to work on making the muscles the exert their maximal force in a short period of time.
Exercises are done on a suitable surface to absorb some of force being prodused

What are the advantages and disadvantages of plyometric training?
A
Advantages: can be adapted to a number of sports, helps many types of athletes, develops speed and power
Disadvantages: not super suitable for young adults, need to be careful with techniques to avoid injury, can be stressful on the body and cause muscle soreness
