The number of times your heart beats per minute (bpm)

What is your heart rate max and how do you work it out?
A
The maximum recommended safe heart rate for an individual during exercise.
220 - age = HRmax (heart rate max)

What is your heart rate training zone and how do you work it out?
A
The recommended heart rate category your heart should be in during exercise. This heart rate should be between 60% and 85% of your HRmax.
HRmax X 0.6 = 60%
HRmax X 0.65 = 85%
