  • An acute, self-limiting rash which affects young adults
  • Thought to be associated with HHV-7

A
  • May give a history of a recent viral infection
  • Herald patch seen on the trunk
  • erythematous, oval, scaly patches
  • Distribution: lesions running parallel to the line of Langer and produces a fir-tree appearance
