What is Bullous Pemphigoid?
A
- Auto-immune condition causing sub-epidermal blistering of the skin
- Secondary to the development of antibodies against hemidesmosomal proteins BP180 and BP230

What are the features of Bullous Pemphigoid?
A
- Itchy, tense blisters typically around the flexures
- Blisters usually heal without scarring
- There is stereotypically no muscosal involvement

What investigations would you do ?
A
- Skin Biopsy: immunofluorescence shows IgG and C3 dermoepidermal junction
