What is Bowen’s Disease?
A
- A precancerous dermatosis to squamous cell carcinoma
- There is a 5-10% chance it will develop to invasive skin cancer

What are the features of Bowen’ Disease?
A
- Red, Scaly patches
- 10- 15mm in size
- Slow-growing
- Occur on sun-exposed areas such as the head, neck and lower limbs

What are the management options for Bowen’s Disease?
A
- Topical 5-Fluorouracil
- Used twice daily for 4 weeks
- Often results in inflammation/erythema
- Topical steroids are given to control this
- Cryotherapy
- Excision
